At Dot & Georgie Collection, each piece is thoughtfully selected, researched, photographed, and described with care. Because much of our collection consists of vintage, pre-owned, and one-of-a-kind pieces, signs of age and previous wear may be part of an item's history and character.

We want you to feel confident when purchasing from our collection. Please review our return policy below before placing your order.

30-Day Returns

We accept eligible returns within 30 days of delivery.

The 30-day return period begins on the date your order is delivered to you, or to a third party designated by you who is not the shipping carrier.

Please include your name, order number, and the item you would like to return.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • The return must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

  • The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received.

  • The item must not have been worn, used, washed, altered, repaired, cleaned, or damaged after delivery.

  • Any Dot & Georgie tags or identification attached to the item at the time of shipment must remain attached.

  • The item must be securely packaged for return shipment.

Items returned with odors, stains, damage, alterations, excessive handling, or other changes that were not present when the item was originally shipped may not qualify for a refund.

We reserve the right to refuse a return when an item is not returned in its original sold condition.

A Note About Vintage & Pre-Owned Condition

Much of the Dot & Georgie Collection consists of vintage and previously owned pieces.

Vintage items may show age-related characteristics such as minor wear, variations in fabric or color, small imperfections, previous alterations or repairs, or other evidence of their history.

We make every reasonable effort to photograph and disclose significant condition issues that we identify before an item is offered for sale.

Age, normal vintage wear, or an imperfection that was clearly photographed or disclosed in the original product listing is not considered damage occurring during shipment.

We encourage you to review all photographs, measurements, condition notes, and product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Because vintage sizing can differ significantly from modern sizing, please rely on the actual garment measurements provided in the listing rather than the size printed on the garment's label.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items specifically identified as Final Sale

  • Personalized or custom-made items

  • Items that have been worn, washed, cleaned, altered, repaired, or damaged after delivery

  • Items returned without attached Dot & Georgie tags when such tags were attached at shipment

  • Items that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened, used, or unsealed, when applicable

  • Gift cards or store credits, except where required by law

Any additional return restrictions will be clearly identified on the individual product listing when applicable.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is the result of an error by Dot & Georgie Collection, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Customers are responsible for the item until the returned package is delivered to us.

Because many Dot & Georgie pieces are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service with appropriate insurance when returning an item.

Dot & Georgie Collection cannot be responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit.

Please retain your tracking information until your return has been completed.

Original Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except when the return results from an error by Dot & Georgie Collection or where otherwise required by law.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Refunds

Once your return has been received, we will inspect the item to confirm that it meets our return requirements.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

We will process approved refunds promptly and no later than 30 days after receiving the returned merchandise.

Your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.

Incorrect or Damaged Orders

If you receive the wrong item or your order arrives with damage that was not disclosed in the product listing, please contact us as soon as possible at dotandgeorgie@gmail.com.

Please include your order number and photographs showing the issue and the packaging, when applicable.

We will work with you to resolve the matter.

Please remember that disclosed vintage wear, age-related characteristics, and imperfections shown or described in the listing are considered part of the item's stated condition.

Gifts

If an eligible item was purchased as a gift, the refund will ordinarily be issued to the original method of payment used to purchase the item.

If store credit is available and appropriate for your return, we may offer that option when processing your request.

We are happy to provide additional information about an item before you purchase it.

If you would like clarification regarding measurements, condition, fabric, construction, color, or another detail, please contact us before placing your order.

We would much rather help you determine whether a piece is right for you before it begins its next chapter.
